Other Swiss organizations in the greater Boston area:

- swissnex Boston (Consulate of Switzerland) (www.swissnexboston.org): Swissnex Boston’s mission is to foster closer ties between Switzerland and New England in academia, industry and society. It organizes outstanding in-house events, and it is a great place to meet some of the brightest creative thinkers, entrepreneurs, and academics.

- The Swiss Society of Boston (www.swisssocietyboston.org): a great organization to meet with Swiss expatriates who have left Switzerland for good. The Society was founded in 1865, and it has a long tradition of welcoming Swiss immigrants to the U.S.

- The Harvard Swiss Society (www.harvardswisssociety.org): a Harvard GSAS Student Association with the mission to advance mutual understanding and academic exchange between Swiss students, Swiss organizations and the larger Harvard community. Besides academic, career planning and social events, they organize a yearly Swiss culture event.

- Friends of Switzerland Luncheons (www.friendsofswitzerland.org): organized by Harvard Law School graduate and Massachusetts Attorney Marc Redlich. These luncheons are always great events to learn more about cutting-edge research directly from leading scholars.

- The Swiss-List (www.swiss-list.com): an informal group of young Swiss scientists and business professionals living in the U.S.

- SAMBA (www.swissamba.ch): a non-profit organization committed to enhance the academic, professional and social experience of Swiss MBA students, professors, and alumni from leading international MBA schools.

- A3SFIT – American Alumni Association of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (www.angelfire.com/sc3/a3sfit): an exciting organization targeting EPFL and ETHZ graduates (diploma or Ph.D.) who reside in the U.S. or Canada.

- ETH Alumni New England Chapter (NEC) (www.newengland.alumni.ethz.ch): an official subgroup of the ETH Alumni association. It connects ETH alumni in the US Northeast to their peers and to other regional alumni associations. Open to ETH alumni who have either studied or worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich) for at least two semesters (one academic year).

- HSG Alumni Club Boston 

(www.alumni.unisg.ch/alumni/home.nsf/ServicePages/Locals): the perfect place to catch up with fellow HSG alums working, studying, or conducing research in New England. The club meets every first Monday of the month in a local Cambridge pub.
